Mission Statement

Our mission is to improve lives through confidentiality, accountability, support, and friendship.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to heal from the inside out by way of testimony, communication, and "Spoken Words".

Statement of Beliefs

Our beliefs are that real life changes occur when we speak life together with others, maturation and progress does not happen in isolation, and little becomes much when you place it in the Master's hands.

A session with Spoken Word

Spoken Word sessions are therapeutic. The Spoken Word session entails speaking life into the heart of individuals. Our session can enlighten someone on how to proceed when confronted with difficult situations and circumstances.

It can also, through Bible-based Words, open doors to today’s and tomorrow’s unanswered questions. Our sessions include life-challenging activities and engaging topics discussed in small groups.

In Spoken Word sessions, we honor confidentiality.

As a treat to each individual in attendance, we provide dinner.

In short, Spoken Word intentionally dedicates our time and heartfelt efforts without excuse to make Spoken Word the success that it has become.

We believe that real change occurs when we speak life together. In Spoken Word, we find refuge from life’s turmoil in community. The ambience of Spoken Word incentives individuals to bond with, confide in, and confess to one another. The ever-present joy is disarming, which enables a sharing of laughter and tears. The culture of Spoken Word encourages both personal and group accountability, and with the love of God, catalyzes the process of growing. We believe maturation and progress does not happen in isolation. This ministry’s impact is undeniable because its places value and focus on attending to the hearts of individuals. Spoken Word cultivates an atmosphere of HOPE by speaking words of life.

The most powerful ministry the world has ever seen began with one man, who decided to teach and speak life into others: little becomes much when you place it in the right hands.

I believe we are afforded opportunities everyday, or even every hour, to speak into the lives of others. Every person is looking for some form of encouragement, affirmation, love, support, prayer, and hope.

People from different walks of life attend Spoken Word meetings. Some openly share their hopes, dreams, and fears, while others are more reticent. In either case, Spoken Word sessions have increased my desire and ability to speak healing words of life to others. As a result, I have seen growth in myself personally, as well as in those my words are meant to impact. The tangible impact of Spoken Word is an illustration of what Jesus said, “For where two or three gather together in my name, there am I with them.” (St. Matthew 18:20) Ministry has increased my desire to use my words to speak healing words of life to others.

Spoken Word is an inspiration to me. Words of encouragement that I get from Spoken word “We Speak Life”; helps me to encourage others as they face life challenges each and every day.
